Ready-to-fruit mushroom blocks delivered to your door. Just cut, mist, and harvest.
We grow our fruiting blocks with the same care and substrates we use for our commercial production. Each 10 lb block is fully colonized and ready to fruit when it arrives. Under the right conditions, expect approximately 2 lbs of fresh gourmet mushrooms from a single block.
All blocks are 10 lbs, fully colonized, and ready to fruit.
The easiest variety to grow at home. Fruits fast and furious in cool temperatures (60–65°F). Known for large caps, tender stems, and generous yields. A great first block for beginners.
Develops at a slower rate but grows to incredibly large size. Needs high air exchange and consistent humidity. Known for dense, club-like fruits with small spines. Fruits well from the top of the block.
An intermediate species — temperature and humidity need to be dialed in. Rewards patience with strikingly beautiful clusters. Harvest after veils break but before caps flatten for best results.
A delicate variety that prefers warmer fruiting temps. Cloud-like mycelium forms on top before pinning. Harvest when veils begin cracking from the stem. Known for mostly even, medium-sized fruits.
Find a spot with indirect light, good air flow, and stable temperature. A kitchen counter, basement, or garage can work well depending on the variety.
Mushrooms love moisture. Mist the opening 2–3 times daily, or place the block in a loose humidity tent (a clear bag with holes). Aim for 85–95% relative humidity.
Good air exchange is critical, especially for Lion's Mane. Don't seal the block — mushrooms need oxygen and produce CO2. If stems are growing long and thin, they need more air.
Harvest before the caps flatten (oysters/chestnuts), when spines elongate (Lion's Mane), or when veils crack (Pioppino). Twist and pull gently, or cut at the base with a clean knife.
After your first harvest, soak the block in cold water for 6–12 hours, then return it to fruiting conditions. Most blocks produce 2–3 flushes with decreasing yields.
If your block arrives before you're ready, refrigerate it at 34–38°F. Fully colonized blocks can hold in cold storage for several weeks.
Send us a message with the variety and quantity you'd like. Blocks are made to order — typical lead time is 4 weeks for first orders, 2 weeks after that.
